Entering awards – We’re in it to win it!

You’ve got to be in it to win it and that’s why we’ve put our hat in the ring for the Staffordshire University Business Awards.

This year it’s our 18^th birthday – a year which has also seen us break through the £5 million turnover mark for the first time in our history.

That’s why we’ve decided to shout about our achievements by entering the awards, which were established in 2023.

We’re proud to have entered the Business of the Year category and the Skills for the Future category.

We have set ambitious growth targets of achieving a turnover of £10 million in the next five years and staff learning and development is central to us achieving that goal, which is why we wanted to highlight what we’ve done.

We’ve invested heavily in learning and development including:

• The senior management team all undergoing Sandler Leadership by Organisational Excellence training.
• All staff, being offered ongoing training and professional development as part of our annual review process.
• Our staff receiving further training as they move up the career ladder.
• Identifying where there are training gaps within the company as part of our learning and development policy.

Over the last 12 months we have:

• Launched our new digital signage brand called Signatech Group, focussing on the manufacture, content management and supply of digital signage.  
• Continued to secure further big-name clients including a contract with up-and-coming bakers Wenzels. Currently based predominantly in the Southeast, the baker’s chain has ambitious plans to become as big as Greggs.
• Added to our client portfolio of gym chains. Having worked with national gym chain Anytime Fitness to support more than 100 gyms across the UK, this year Fifteen Group also added nationwide gym chain Jetts to our client list.

Shortlisting will take place after the deadline for entries closes on June 1^st with the awards evening taking place in Staffordshire University’s Catalyst Building on September 5^th.
