We are thrilled to welcome a new Head of Operations on board – Carl Redfern!
With a wide client base delivering a number of different technologies, it was essential that we recruit someone with extensive experience working with various industries and projects.
With 26 years in the Fire and Life Safety Systems Industry, he brings a wealth of experience to the Fifteen Team, having ambitious plans for the growth and development of its people and client base forming part of this sound and solid business.
Carl spent fourteen and a half years in the Royal Air Force as an Electrical Engineering Technician (ground trades), he ventured into the Fire Protection Industry in 1999 as a Mobile Fire Alarm Service Engineer with the Briton Fire Company.
Very quickly the company recognised that Carl had many more capabilities and was promoted early to the role of Service Manager for the business in the Southwest and then Commercial Manager, later in post.
Since then, Carl has worked in the Fire and Life Safety Industry in a number of companies around the UK, including Integral UK Ltd where he set up the successful ‘in house’ Fire Division, UK Fire International (Now Interserve) and also spent 6 years in Canada, Designing and Commissioning Fire Detection and Alarm Systems. In addition to this, he is also a qualified Fire and Life Safety Inspector for the Provincial Government in Newfoundland.
More recently, Carl spent 8 years as an Operations Manager and then Operations Director (SW area) with EFire Ltd, a Norfolk based National Fire and Life Safety business with 3 offices before they were acquired in March 2023 by Kings Secure Technologies Ltd. Up to Joining Fifteen Group, Carl was the National Service Director for EFire’s National Business for the KSTL group.
